Is the price on my quote final?+
Yes. SmartTaxi offers a fixed-price guarantee โ the figure on your quote is the figure you pay. There are no surge prices and no hidden tolls, parking or VAT charges.
How does meet & greet work?+
Your driver tracks your flight in real time and meets you in the arrivals hall holding a name board. They will help with luggage and walk you to the vehicle. Meet & greet is included on every airport pickup.
What if my flight is delayed?+
We monitor every inbound flight automatically. If your arrival time changes, your driver is updated; if you are delayed for more than two hours we may rebook a fresh driver for you at no extra cost.
Can I add a stop along the way?+
Yes. Use the "Add via destination" option in the quote form. We can also add additional stops after booking โ just contact us with your reference.
How do I pay?+
After you confirm a booking, you pay securely by card on the next page โ card details are handled by SumUp's encrypted hosted form so they never touch our servers. Apple Pay and Google Pay are available on supported devices. Corporate accounts are invoiced monthly.
What is your cancellation policy?+
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup. Cancellations within 24 hours are charged at 50%; no-shows are charged in full. Corporate accounts have separate terms.
Are child seats available?+
Yes โ request a child seat or booster in the booking notes. There is no extra charge.
How many bags fit in each vehicle?+
Saloon: 2 standard bags. Estate / MPV: 3โ4. Executive MPV: 5. 8-seater minibus: 8. If you have unusual luggage (skis, golf clubs) please mention this in booking notes.
Can I book on behalf of someone else?+
Yes โ enter their name and phone number as the passenger contact, and your own email for confirmation. We will text the passenger when the driver is on their way.
Do you operate outside the UK?+
SmartTaxi specialises in UK airport transfers and journeys within Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
